HIGHER FINES ON BUSWAY STUBBORN, STARTED!
Starting yesterday November 13, 2023 higher fines will be imposed on violators of EDSA Busway policy.
Here is the list of the new violation being implemented in EDSA bus lane:
Second offense – 10,000 / 1 month suspension of driver’s license / Subjected to road safety seminar
Third offense – P20,000 / 1 year suspension of driver’s license
Fourth offense – P30,000 / Cancel driver’s license
Reminder of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) under the leadership of Secretary Jaime Bautista, only buses, ambulances and other vehicles used for emergency response are allowed to pass through the inner lane of EDSA.
