LOOK: Department of Transportation (DOTr), Land Transportation Office (LTO), Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), Inter-Agency Council for Traffic (i-ACT), Highway Patrol Group (HPG) and Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) conducted a joint inspection at Paraรฑaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) yesterday, March 29, 2023.
This is in preparation for the influx of travelers returning home to their provinces this Easter Week, and to ensure the smooth implementation of Oplan Travel Order: Santa Week and Summer Vacation 2023.
Secretary Bautista did an inspection with some officials at PITX, where they checked the arrangement of facilities such as waiting area, bus, and ticketing booth.
Secretary Bautista also personally greeted the passengers and passengers waiting at the terminal and boarded the buses to talk to the drivers there.
Among the inspectors were DOTr Undersecretary for Legal Affairs Reinier Paul Yebra, MMDA Chairman Romando Artes, I-ACT Chief Charlie Apolinario del Rosario, and PITX Corporate Affairs and Government Relations Head Jason Salvador.
